A research work by Suhwan Jung and Seokwoo Choi, WMNL Ph.D candidates, has been accepted to IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2024, a top-quality international conference in the field of Network Operations and Management.

Their work has analyzed the coexistence performance between Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) and legacy Wi-Fi by devising a novel Markov Chain (MC) for MLO (Multi-Link Operation) of Wi-Fi 7, revealing that existing MCs for MLO in the literature cannot correctly capture the actual channel access behavior of MLDs (Multi-Link Devices).
